Life Challenges

I had to take my cat to the emergency vet this week. I was out of town and

Snapdragon threw a temper tantrum about me being gone. I told the sitters she was just fine and being dramatic, but when I got home she still wasn't eating and drinking. I sobbed for four hours because she is elderly and has lots of health issues. It turns out that I was right. She made herself malnourished and dehydrated being upset that I was gone. She cost me so much money being a drama queen.

I myself had food poisoning and had to fly back from vacation.

It is so, so difficult to maintain running a business and being in graduate school when life is getting in the way. It feels like my schedule is so tenuous. The balance required to get everything done is precarious. There's a lesson here, I'm sure.

It was a rough week, but at least Snapdragon is okay.
